December was a busy month in Room 131 (see photos below)! The students baked, sewed, made stop-motion films, built and performed. It was a fun month and now we are back into the full swing of things.
In writing, we are focusing on paragraph writing and editing. In reading, we are working on demonstrating understanding of what we have read by backing up responses with details from the text. In math, we are wrapping up a unit in geometry and moving on to problem solving with addition and subtraction. In science, we are beginning a very hands-on unit about Forces.
