Items home

Today a number of times were sent home including some artwork, writing, math and social studies activities.  Next week, all belongings need to be sent home so I am trying to send a bit at a time. Please be sure the items are removed from your child’s backpack. 

If your child will be leaving for the holiday before December 18th, please let me know so I can send their belongings with them on their last day. 

Paper Bridges

A few weeks ago the students created bridges from paper. By simply folding or layering their paper (limit of two sheets) some groups’ bridges were able to support over 100 pennies!  

 

Indoor Shoes

Just a reminder to be sure your child has a pair of indoor shoes at school.

Indoor Shoes

With the wintery weather quickly approaching, we will be using our lockers more often.  Please send in a pair of indoor shoes with your child.  The shoes will be sent home every Friday, so please remember to return them the following week (I suggest just leaving them in the backpack!).  

PA Day

 Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday as there are parent-teacher interviews being held. 

Halloween Writing and Art

Students created haunted houses and wrote “for sale” listings about them. They did an amazing job!

Bridge building

The students built “bone” bridges in October.  They were very creative!
