Spring Chickens

The chickens have flown the coop!  A great spring craft incorporating some new skills! Everyone got a chance to try out the sewing machine with the help of Mrs. MacDougall.

Fine Arts Night

On Thursday, April 20th there will be an Arts Night at MCS. It will run from 6pm to 8pm.  Artwork and sculpture will be displayed in the hallways and library.  There will also be music and drama performances in the auditorium.  The school council and foods class will be providing light snacks.
Bring your family and your friends and we hope to see you there!!

Salma's Goodbye Party

Thursday

On Thursday we will be having a celebration to say goodbye to one of our fellow classmates.  Salma will be leaving until the end of the year and to let her know how much she will be missed we thought we would have a little party.  We will be baking and playing games.  Students are welcome to wear pajamas and bring stuffed animals and games.

Scholastic Book Orders

Book orders are due on Wednesday, March 8th.  

Kiwanis Music Festival

This is a reminder that the bus for the Kiwanis Music Festival will be leaving MCS at 9:00am on Tuesday, March 7th.  If you child is in the school choir, please have them at school on time to catch the bus (approx. 8:50am).  The choir will be meeting by the gyms.
