Speech results

Congratulations to Ezra!  He will be representing MCS at the legion this weekend.

Electromagnetic motors

John Wills once again offered his scientific expertise to teach the students about magnetism. The students worked diligently to create a small electromagnetic motor. All groups were successful!

Celebrations

Over the past month the class celebrated and learned about, both Chinese New Year and Mawlid/Milad (the Prophet Muhammed's birthday). A special thank you to Derek and Mrs. Wang for the yummy treats, and to Baraa and Dr. Ben Amour for sharing information about both Milad and Eid. We are lucky to have such a diverse class where students can learn about other cultures first hand!

Filled up with hot chocolate

National Sweater Day was a big success, although with the cold temperatures outside, it took a while for the boilers to slow down in the morning. Students enjoyed a cup (or two) of hot chocolate!
