Online Learning

It was announced today that we will be returning to online learning on Monday, April 19th.  Stay tuned for more information from our Board and myself in the coming days.  It is not ideal, but we will get through this together.   Please continue to enjoy your Spring Break!

Maple sap

 

A couple of weeks ago we had Mrs. Davies come and help us tap a tree.  The sap ran really well and we filled our bucket!  Instead of boiling in down, students drank the filtered sap.  Many were surprised at how sweet it was considering it looked just like water.  

Pink Shirt Day

 Wear pink on Wednesday in support of anti bullying. 

Picture Day Tomorrow

 Just a reminder that it is school picture day tomorrow.  Only individual photos will be taken.

Valentine’s Day

Below are the Valentine's Day safety guidelines from the Renfrew County Health Unit.  Those wishing to distribute Valentine's Day cards, need to be sure they bring them in by February 9th so they can sit for 72 hours before being handled by others.  We will be making bags at school for them to collect the cards in.  Please do not send in any food items.  I have included a list of student names below.

Indoor Shoes

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the parents/grandparents/siblings for your help these past couple of weeks.  I am very proud of how hard our students worked and how well they adapted to the new learning environment.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone Monday morning.  Have a lovely weekend!
