Snowshoeing

Out class plans to go snowshoeing tomorrow morning during outdoor ed.  If your child has their own snowshoes, they are welcome to bring them.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria will be closed starting tomorrow (Fri. Jan. 24th) until next Thursday, Jan. 30th inclusively due to secondary exams.  Elementary students will still receive their pizza on Weds/Thurs next week, as scheduled.

Just a reminder that our class swimming lessons begin Friday.  Please be sure to return the permission form by Thursday.

Holiday Fun!

Before the break the class had some fun competing to make the best toilet paper snowman and decorating our door.  We won first place in the primary division for our Tree Farm door!  There were many other amazing doors!

Decoration

We hope you enjoyed the holiday decoration the students brought home.  They worked very hard to learn to sew in order to make them and they did an amazing job!  We also discussed how the early settlers of Canada created homemade gifts for Christmas as supplies and stores were limited.
