We had a presentation on Monday by Johnny Issaluk. He is a famous Inuit athlete, actor and speaker, and his children attend MCS.

Movie Night:
For their next movie night, Student Council is showing "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle", this Friday, March 23rd. Admission is $5, doors open at 5:30, and the movie starts at 6:00.
Wacky Hair Day:
Next Thursday, March 29th is Wacky Hair Day! Show your school spirit with your crazy hair to earn points towards your house!
Coding:
This week we have been using Scratch Coding to reinforce the students' understanding of transformations (flips, slides and turns).

Olympic Bulletin Board
Thank you to Mrs. McLaren for our awesome Olympic bulletin board! We did a great job cheering the Olympic team on. After a media lesson on advertising, the students created logos of their favourite sports and added them to the board. They turned out really well!
