Addition and Subtraction with Regrouping
We have been working on addition and subtraction with regrouping recently. Students have been using Base Ten materials to help with their understanding. We have also been learning the traditional method (that most parents probably learned). Some students are struggling with this skill. Please review it at home. Below are some examples.

Speech Update
Our in-school speech presentation (for the whole school) has now been scheduled for February 23. This gives us an extra week, so in-class presentations will now take place the week of February 15th. All speeches will need to be complete, and ready to present on Monday, February 15th even though some students will present later in the week. We will have a few more days this week for students to work on it in class. After that, students will need to complete it at home.
