Optimism Award

Congratulations to Sydney and Heidin who received the Optimism award this month. It is great to see such positive attitudes!  

Woodwinds

On Friday we were treated to a performance by a quartet of woodwind instruments. Students also learned about the different woodwind instruments. 

Field trip

Just a reminder that tomorrow is our field trip to the sugar bush.  It is calling for rain, so be sure to dress appropriately. The students will have their lunch (including pizza) when we return.  

Hippy Day

Dig into your costume boxes, tomorrow is Hippy Day!

Symmetry

Students have been investigating symmetry, as well as transformations (rotations, translations, reflections). They have been creating symmetrical models. They have also been learning how to move objects on a grid and to describe those movements. 

Bake Sale

Tomorrow there will be a bake sale to benefit the Me to We campaign. Students can bring a small amount of money to purchase a treat at break time. 

Yard Sale

On Friday, April 4th, the Earlyact club will be hosting a yard sale as a Me to We fundraiser. If students have any items they wish to donate (books, toys, etc.) they are asked to bring them in tomorrow.  On Friday, they can bring in some change to do a little shopping at the yard sale. 

Library

Tomorrow is library day. Library will fall on Wednesdays until Easter then it will be on Fridays.
